Great concept on this, to go with such a sweet graphic. Took me back to my childhood days of firefly lanterns, and enchanted evenings of mountain valleys filled with a light show from nature.
Funny the commonality of childhood! They had a study last year(?) where folks were getting paid 10 buck per hundred or thousand they could catch and deliver...(I believe so they could do research)...I think the fun would wear off after about a buck fifty...

wow, such wonderful memories, catching fireflies in my grandparent's yard and reading one of my fav-o-rite books "a wrinkle in time."
wonderful post and great take on the theme...nice work! I love fire flies
Nice clean graphic. From a wrinkly now missing the fireflies (or lightning bugs - is this a geographical difference?)

I like the simplicity and colors.

Catching fireflies is a great childhood memory. Thanks for reminding me!
very sweet and cheery illio and i can really feel the fabric of the little calico top! :))
I like how you used the spiral at the bottom of the jar on the wings of the flies. It really ties the piece together.
Very clever drawing and take on the word!
